CRITTER TIMER

The Short Version

Critter Timer collects nothing about you. It does not track you, does not phone home, and does not contain any analytics or advertising frameworks. Your focus sessions, streaks, and settings stay on your Apple Watch.

What Data Critter Timer Stores

Critter Timer stores the following information locally on your Apple Watch using standard Apple APIs (UserDefaults):

• Your selected focus and break durations
• Your selected companion (rabbit, fox, or cat)
• Your auto-start preference
• Your daily session count and streak history
• The state of any session in progress, so it can resume gracefully

This information never leaves your watch. It is not synced to iCloud and not transmitted to any server. If you delete Critter Timer from your watch, all of this data is removed.

What Critter Timer Does Not Do

• It does not collect your name, email, or any identifying information
• It does not request your location
• It does not access your contacts, photos, calendar, or health data
• It does not include any third-party analytics, crash reporters, or advertising SDKs
• It does not connect to any network or remote server
• It does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies

Notifications

Critter Timer schedules local notifications on your watch to let you know when a focus or break session ends. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device by watchOS — Critter Timer does not send notifications through any external service.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time in Settings → Notifications → Critter Timer on your Apple Watch.

Children's Privacy

Critter Timer is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
